BillyFaithfull2Executive creative director, Billy Faithfull makes a bold choice for February’s winners of the Aerial Awards. Billy chose Joe Williams and Andy Preston’s work on Durex for its bravery and difference.

However, Billy commented that there’s room for improvement. ‘There’s plenty wrong with it – too much voiceover on the “film” bit of the radio ad’.

Offering advice for producing a strong radio ad, Billy argued the need for authentic dialogue. ‘People don’t talk the way you imagine. Imperfect, grammatical oddities, half-sentences.’
