Is it a car? Is it a spaceship? No it’s the new Santander Cycles!
This is the first instalment in a wave of activity launching Santander’s partnership with TfL. Despite being tongue-in-cheek, the YouTube video featuring Jenson Button demonstrates Santander’s dedication to making cycling in London more enjoyable. It highlights the beauty of the new designs created by WCRS and also aims to drive people to download the new Santander Cycles App.
The innovative new app allows users to pay for cycle rental via their phone or other mobile device meaning no more waiting at the docking station for your 5 digit code!
You can even view recent journeys and charges, and still see up-to-the minute information about which docking stations have cycles and spaces available.
This is just the beginning in a range of improvements Santander and TfL will be introducing to make the scheme easier, more fun and more rewarding.
