The Engine Grad Scheme

Recently you may have read that we were looking for Account Executives here at WCRS. It’s one entrance into the wild world of comms, but it’s not the only route. Another option is to go through the Engine Graduate Scheme, which is currently open for applicants.

WCRS is one part of Engine; a group of best in class communications companies who work together to deliver world-class campaigns that cover a large spectrum of disciplines. For those entranced by the myriad of possibilities both in communications these days and post-uni in general, this scheme is for you. Why? Because it allows you to do many different roles before settling on one that’s right for you.

The year long scheme involves four rotations around Engine companies, before finding a home somewhere within the building. You might come in thinking of trying out public affairs at MHP, or a bit of customer experience at Transform – but instead end up being a strategist at WCRS. It is possible, because that’s what I did. And it’s not pot luck where you’re placed on the scheme; members of the Engine team work with you to pick roles that compliment and challenge your skills.

No two graduates visit the same set of companies – we think that’s a good thing. It means is you can take all those nuggets of knowledge into a role and a workplace where the more chameleon-like you can be, the better. It’s what makes Engine great and what makes the grad scheme great too.

You’ve got ‘til the end of January to apply – and you can do so right here.

(Just don’t forget to pick WCRS as a placement if you make it through)
