January sees the launch of two new films in our Royal Navy recruitment campaign, Made in the Royal Navy.
As a Royal Navy Submariner, you are part of an elite team. Self-sufficiency, collective responsibility and absolute professionalism are the key values enabling the Submarine Service to work right at the cutting edge.
Our latest spot, Ali’s story, is all about the bonds that are forged between the elite men and women who protect our seas in the Submarine Service. In the film, we see how Ali first became a Submariner in order to work with the best equipment in the world, but quickly came to realise that being in the Submarine Service was about so much more than that – it was also about friendship. We see the experiences he has had as a Submariner that have led to him being Made in The Royal Navy.
In the second film, we see the story of Gareth, who decided to join the Royal Navy as a way of giving his life a sense of purpose. Very quickly he found that a life in the Royal Navy gave him opportunities and experiences he would never otherwise have had, including the chance to represent the Royal Navy rugby team at Twickenham in front of over 80,000 people.
