As part of an Engine team, we have launched the Department for International Trade’s largest ever international trade and investment campaign as part of the UK Government’s continued drive to make Britain the business destination of choice. The campaign is the latest initiative in the successful longstanding GREAT Britain campaign to promote the best of what the UK has to offer the world. It was created by an integrated team, pulling together expertise from WCRS, PAA and MHP.
The campaign showcases everything the UK can offer to foreign businesses; a plethora of impressive companies with world-leading capabilities offering creativity, expertise and innovation, as well as incredible talent and appealing infrastructure. The companies showcased include the innovative British company Touch Bionics, a world-leading provider of prosthetic technologies and DONG Energy, Denmark’s largest energy company who have built the world’s largest offshore windfarm in the UK.
The multi-channel campaign includes a TV spot, OOH visuals in international airports such as Hong Kong, New York, Los Angeles, Dubai, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Singapore, as well as press ads in publications such as the Economist, Forbes and Business Week, and substantial digital promotion.
