Last May we launched Safestore’s first ever ATL push with a TV spot directed by award-winning Dougal Wilson. The ad focuses on the emotional relationship between a young boy and his favourite teddy bear with the campaign line, ‘Safestore the things you love’. Shot with cinematic flair and a big orchestral soundtrack, it’s the first time big emotion has been brought to the category of self-storage.
Early results are looking good; unprompted awareness more than trebled post-campaign with prompted awareness increasing by over a third. Site traffic increased by 206% YOY with brand searches up 105% YOY and direct visitors to the Safestore website up 199% YOY.
Our campaign won three awards at the 2013 British Arrows, including a Silver and two bronzes.
