Following in the footsteps of a giant ping-pong playing cephalopod, our new campaign for Betfair sees horses racing against each other – in rally cars no less.

To coincide with the run up to The Cheltenham Festival, our campaign dramatises how simple it is to bet using Betfair, which is brought to life through the introduction of a catchy mnemonic ‘Tap Tap Boom’.

The campaign spans TV, digital and press and builds on Betfair’s brand idea “This is Play” and its deliberate move away from industry stereotypes.

Mark Ody, Brand Director, Betfair, said: “People believe betting is exciting; and that betting with Betfair is even more exciting. Our new suite of ads brings this to life in a highly distinctive, enjoyable and engaging way. This really is play as it should be.”
