On Friday we were delighted to invite Olly Courtney, copywriter and photographer, into WCRS for some fundraising with a difference. Olly, who started A Thousand Portraits, is aiming to take a thousand ‘Donate-What-It’s-Worth’ portraits in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.

Olly, who is running the London Marathon, wanted to be a bit different and give people something back for their donations. The idea is simple: he visits offices, takes some pictures, and you donate what you think it’s worth. All of the proceeds from the project go directly to Teenage Cancer Trust, the only charity dedicated to supporting the thousands of young people who are diagnosed with cancer every year.

We simply couldn’t resist the opportunity to get involved! Faces were powdered, backs straightened, and smiles were (sometimes unnervingly) forced. All in all, we were extremely pleased with the outcome and wish Olly best of luck for his continued fundraising and marathon.
