Today, Santander is launching Santa&deer, a bank for Christmas.
But this is no ordinary bank, this is a Christmas bank with a special purpose – to donate toys to less fortunate children. Together with ambassadors Jessica Ennis-Hill and Jenson Button, Santander are inviting their customers to deposit new or nearly new toys in branch and withdraw in return chocolate coins. The toys will be donated to local charities across the UK.
Directed by Richard Mullane and created by WCRS as part of an Engine team, the campaign launch film sees a pantomime reindeer with a red nose galloping across the stunning, epic scenery of the Sussex Downs before arriving at a Santander branch. Yet this isn’t any old pantomime reindeer – as the film reveals this reindeer has Jess and Jenson inside.
To accompany the toy drive, Santander will be running their much loved 12 Toys of Christmas prize draw on Facebook and Twitter. The daily prize draws give people a chance to win one of 2016’s must have toys, with one person winning all 12 toys in the Grand Prize Draw on the final day. Everyone entering will receive a personalised good luck and thank you message from Jessica and Jenson, with the winners receiving a personalised congratulatory video from the ambassadors.
