You know, it’s pretty cheap to get to Paris these days.

But don’t you ever think when you’re on a plane, on a train, on a coach, that you’d just rather be outside? Feel the cool wind in your hair, hear the sweet sounds of the countryside, smell the scent of freshly cut grass?

Well this Friday 9th June, The Engine Dashers, a trio of agency riders, will form to take the scenic route to the French capital in aid of Duchenne UK in the Duchenne Dash, a fast and gruelling 300km 24-hour bike ride from London to Paris.

The Dashers, better known as Charlie Harrington, Kamahl Hoque and Howard De Smet, are competing as part of Team Banco Santander to embark on the challenge alongside 150 other riders, in a bid to help end Duchenne muscular dystrophy, today’s number one genetic killer of children.

Recent scientific breakthroughs have brought treatments within reach, with the charity hopeful that there can be end to Duchenne within the next 10 years.

So we’re asking for your support in helping us get that step closer to ending Duchenne muscular dystrophy with a kind donation to the Engine Dashers Duchenne Dash fundraising page.

Any donation, no matter how great or small, would be hugely appreciated.

Good luck team!
