£1 million. 300 kilometres. 160 riders. 24 hours. 1 amazing cause.
This year, three merry men from WCRS, Charlie Harrington, Kamahl Hoque and Howard De Smet, embarked on the Duchenne Dash, a gruelling cycling endurance race from London to Paris, in a bid to end Duchenne muscular dystrophy, today’s number one genetic killer of children.
In its fifth year of the event, WCRS teamed up with the Santander race team, one of the event’s principal sponsors, participating as Team Banco.
We’re delighted to say all the riders made it in one piece to Paris with the event smashing its £1 million fundraising target and helping Duchenne UK get one giant step closer to finding a cure for the disease.
Bring on Duchenne Dash 2018!
