On 25th October, WCRS and Engine Media teamed up to launch “No Woman Turned Away”, a social campaign designed to generate leads for Women’s Aid.
In just one day last year, 78 women in abusive relationships were turned away from refuge. Women turned away from refuge face the stark choice between homelessness, being separated from their children or returning to their abuser. With the aim of generating leads through Facebook and Twitter, the “No Woman Turned Away” social campaign features a composite image of 78 women and asks viewers to share their contact details to find out how they can help.
Created entirely within Engine, the creative was developed by Sean Curran and Rosie Gills at WCRS while distribution – which targets users who have a demonstrated interest in stopping domestic abuse – was planned and executed by Engine Media.
The campaign will be live until 25th November. To find out more about how you can help, visit the Women’s Aid website.
