As a new way to recruit RAF Intelligence Analysts we developed ‘Sound Skills’, a mobile-first auditory experience.
The experience was a new way of using sound technology to help find naturally talented intelligence analysts.
Using a selection of different techniques, including 3D sound, we replicated the world around us in five soundscapes. We then created tests built around essential listening skills, such as the ability to concentrate on one conversation in a crowded bar, focus listening on a friend at a festival or identify a name in foreign football commentary.
To date, ‘Sound Skills’ has picked up two D&AD pencils, as well as top prices at The One Show and The Drum Marketing Awards.
